Dorothy Etheredge Local Jacksonville Artist from 1925 to 2005
Dorothy Etheredge was one of Jacksonville's premier and best know portrait , still life and landscape artist working primarily in oils and pastels. This collection owned by Jack Jones Jr (of Jones College) includes approximately 3 dozens of her oils and pastels beautifully preserved. Most are matted and some are framed in their original framing. The collection includes numerous awards, ribbons and newspaper articles that Ms. Etheredge amassed during her active years as one of Northeast Florida most accomplished fine artist.
